NEW BELGIUM FAT TIRE AMBER ALE

BEER + FOOD
Fat Tire is without a doubt one of the most popular Craft Beers of the times. It deserves every accolade it is given as well as the brewery itself. From being employee owned and powered by the wind, New Belgium seems to be doing everything right. Just recently the brewery started distributing to the Eastern Seaboard, which has been a long time coming for many, many fans of New Belgium.

Fat Tire is a wonderful session beer, highly drinkable and doesn’t tire the palate. The beer has a medium body with abundant malt sweetness and low hops. These characteristics make it perfect for dinner’s that tend to have sweet flavors. Entrees such as steak, calamari or even lasagna all would fit well with the beer. Each would compliment the beer, linking directly with the malt sweetness.
I know that it’s hard to find, I actually had to trade some PA locals to get this beer up here. So far it’s only into GA and SC, but I think with some time we’ll see it up this way. How can it not? It is without a doubt, one of the most popular craft brews at the time.
