We had a wonderful afternoon at Zeno’s yesterday. Tried some fantastic beers: Hop Devil on cask, Hopback on cask, St. Bernardus Wit, Zeno’s Hoppy Rye brewed by Otto’s and we topped it off with a Brooklyn Local 2.

We also met Dan, who used to brew for Oskar Blues. He heard us commenting on the Ten Fidy and Old Chub in the cooler, asked if we liked Oskar. Of course we like Oskar Blues, we love Dales. Dan may be joining us as a guest blogger. He’ll school us all on the characteristics of hops and malts and so much more.

So, great day at Zeno’s once again. We also, left our mark.

beer + food = Barleydine
