BROOKLYNER WEISSE

Hefeweizen | 5.00% ABV

Pours a light amber-golden color with hints of lacing in the Hefe Vase. The aroma is tainted with bananas and cloves that follow straight into the flavor. The body of the beer is medium, which is quite heavy for a Hefe. Very nice grain bill loaded with wheat flavors. Beautiful refreshing finish of silky smooth perfection.

Tasting Notes:

Paired the Broolyner Weisse with a small steak salad with a twiced baked potatoe side. The medium-light body of the beer didn’t compete with the salad. While the aroma and flavors linked up well with the delicate flavors of the vegetables. The best part was the abundant malts, which is not typical of a Hefeweizen. All that wonderful malt flavor played so nicely with the caramelized flavors of the meat.
