The Wingman and I made are annual trek down to see Sisco at the Brass Rail in Cambellstown. First we cleaned him out of Dales over in his distribution store. Then we migrated over to the Deli and loaded up on a wonderful selection of bottles. After spending a couple of hours chatting and downing a couple of the best hot-dogs I’ve ever eaten we hit the road. Next stop, the Beer Zoo on the way to Troegs. We emptied their shelves of Dales. Together the Wingman and I had 5 cases, which we planned to split with the Delectable Divisor. Last we stopped in at Troegs. Nothing too great going on there. Scratch 25 was just released, though no one could give me a run down of what I was drinking. All the gent knew is that it was a Rye beer, which was much like another Rye beer that they did previously in the scratch series. I was hoping they quietly released the Splinter series, but that was a no go. I ended up leaving empty handed. Overall, another great day of beer on the first day of Deer season.
