American IPA | 7.00% ABV

Pours a darker amber hue with an off-white head. Fantastic nose, full of sweetness and citrus notes which follow straight to the flavor. A very well balanced IPA with a fantastic hop bill backed up nicely with malt sweetness. This isn’t your over hopped watery blonde ale that many breweries put out. Weldspatter is a wonderfully balanced session beer that drinks more like an English IPA than the American version.

Weldspatter is a go to grilling beer. It can handle anything you slap on the fiery inferno. In fact, this beer is perfect for drinking while grilling and following straight to the meal. We’ve paired this beer with lots of different foods, never a let me down. The beers wonderful malt base linked well with the sweetness of the grilled burger while the hops cut the full, savory flavors. Not only did the hops cut all the cheese and meat flavors, but it contrast the sweetness in the meat and tomato on the burger. Weldspatter is a wonderful beer, very well thought out and executed IPA. It’s definitely one of my go to grilling and session beers.

beer + food = Barleydine
